This set of 4 coasters is modern and rustic, simple and organic. With uneven edges, each piece is a unique work of art with a slightly different rounded shape.
Olive wood is a hard wood making it very dense and durable for everyday use and it is non porous so no germs or odors are retained.
Each piece is handcrafted from a single piece of olive wood so no two pieces are alike.
Size: each coaster is approximately 4" in diameter
Natural OliveWood is a family-owned business that handcrafts kitchen utensils and tableware from non-productive olive trees. Brothers Hatem and Walid Alimi were born in Tunisia, which used to be a French protectorate, and learned the art of carving the trunks of olive trees from a young age. Today, their family produces beautiful kitchenware with striking swirls, characteristic of the olive trees' gnarled and knotted trunks.
Natural OliveWood products are safe and sustainable, naturally nonporous and coated in a protective layer of olive oil.
Care: Simply hand wash and rinse the pieces in warm water and leave to dry in a vertical position. Do not soak and do not put in the dishwasher. To prevent the wood from drying, occasionally apply some vegetable oil.
